Spiegelau of Germany:
The Helles Glass, The Wheat Beer Glass
&
The Stemmed Pilsner GlasS
The boss is coming for a special dinner and she loves beer. For the times that only the best will do, we offer beautiful hand blown beer classics, designed to maximize the sensory experience of beer drinking. Available in a special tube printed to resemble a glass of beer, we offer three styles
(in order of appearance at left, L-R):
The Helles Glass Hell yes, this is the way to go. The classic form follows function and shape. It's a full half liter and is perfect for session beers like Pike's Naughty Nellie and Pike Pale Ale.
The Wheat Beer Glass We like the German description, "Weizenbierglas," better. What ever you call it, your friends will call you sophisticated when you serve wheat beer, weiss beer, wit beer or hefe weizen beer in this tall, elegant half liter. Designed for a big head...on the beer that is. Lovely as a vase full of flowers, too.
The Stemmed Pilsner Glass Too elegant for Pilsner, we would describe this as an Abbey Style. The tulip shape promotes an intense release of flavors. Its 14oz. size is perfect for beers like Monk's Uncle Tripel and Tandem Double.
