Originally created in house at The Pike Pub to generously bathe our Kilt Lifter BBQ Ribs. This sauce is rich, smooth, creamy and delicious; the backbone of organic tomatoes balances the underlying smokiness that comes from the peated malt and Kilt Lifter ale. A subtly smoky-sweet sauce rather than spicy but with enough kick from dried chilis to lift up ribs, pork sliders, burgers, duck, fish and sandwiches.
Ingredients: Pike Kilt Lifter ale, water, organic tomato paste, malt syrup, molasses, organic evaporated cane juice, apple cider vinegar, organic white distilled vinegar, Worcestershire sauce (distilled white vinegar, molasses, water, sugar, onions, anchovies, salt, garlic, cloves, tamarind extract, natural flavorings, chili pepper extract), natural hickory seasoning (water, natural hickory smoke concentrate), organic sea salt, smoked paprika, granulated onion, black pepper, peaked malt, mustard powder, lemon puree (lemon juice concentrate, water, lemon pulp, lemon peel, lemon oil), organic allspice, organic cayenne, organic ground cloves.
